Product Description
This story must be told – not simply for my own catharsis but for the bodies and souls of children everywhere. This story is one of unspeakable pain and joyous salvation. From the depths of despair to the pinnacle of joy, we can rise to find our place in this world. Today I am a successful Christian business woman, employed at one of the top financial firms on Wall Street; a dedicated wife and taking a parental role to a younger sister. Yet, my start in life would be unbelievable to most people who meet me.

5 out of 5 stars My Place In This World   October 25, 2008
The Prologue reads:

"This story must be told - not simply for my own catharsis but for the bodies and souls of children everywhere.
This story is one of unspeakable pain and joyous salvation. From the depths of despair to the pinnacle of joy, we can rise to find our place in this world. "

The Prologue goes on to say:

"I used to watch those rags to riches stories on TV and thought "maybe that will be me one day," but I wasn't sure it was possible. I was so wrong because life is what you make of it, and I made it the best I possibly could with what I had, and what I didn't have I asked God to step in -and I can see now that He did."

This sums up her story, which is a rich, sad, funny, amazing story of human triumph.
