What In the World Is Going On January 9, 2009 This is a great book I could not put it down. Everyone should read this book it will change your life and how you look at the world situation today!
Great foundation and biblical reference for what's happening NOW January 9, 2009 Dr. Jeremiah lays the foundation by explaining history behind Israel, a little history of Europe and Rome and then a little on Islamic Terrorists. In the section titled Does America Have a Role In Prophecy he addreses the apparant lack of the US in biblical prophecy.
In a clear manner the author uses scripture and studies to help folks understand the elements/players/strategies and outcome of the end of the world as we know it.
One of the best things about this book, and probably what sets it apart from others in my eyes, is that he writes with hope and love, leaving us not to cringe and despair but to be filled with peace and hope.
Whazzup? January 6, 2009 If you've ever wondered if there's really a connection between the Bible and "real" life, here's your answer. The author makes sense of current events in the light of scriptural prophecy. A must read for both fundamental Christians and unbelievers as well(if you're not afraid to hear what others believe). The author's analysis of current events and the ultimate future outcome makes sense. Well worth the price!
Excellent Book -- Get It! January 4, 2009 This book is a must read for anyone who wants to make sense of the current events in light of Biblical prophesy. The pieces of the puzzle come together in such a clear way when presented in light of God's truth. I plan on buying a copy for every member of my extended family.
It's the End of the World as We Know It...not. January 3, 2009 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
As so many evangelicals of his genre, Jeremiah has made millions of dollars writing books about what he believes the Bible means for the rest of us. Tell me, Good Reverend. How will you explain your zillion dollar home in Southern California and your luxury lifestyle to Jesus when he comes back and finds you basking in your wealthy spoils? His church, Shadow Mountain Community Cult in El Cajon rakes in a fortune from yuppie Christians who need a megachurch and a leader like Jeremiah to lead them because evangelicals don't think for themselves. As I've said so many times before to these mental midgets, the Bible is not your book alone to interpret. But apparently panic sells. And the rapture is big business. I just wish Jesus would come back and take these merry fools back to heaven so the rest of us free thinkers can have the planet to ourselves. Anybody remember Hale Bopp?
